These Terms & Conditions govern all signage, print, design, and installation services provided by DP Sign Print (“we”, “us”, “our”). By requesting a quotation, placing an order, approving artwork, or engaging with our services in any capacity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Quotations & Pricing
2.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
2.2 Prices exclude VAT unless explicitly stated.
2.3 Quotations are based on the information provided at the time. Any changes to specifications, materials, access conditions, or installation requirements may result in a revised quotation.
2.4 We reserve the right to adjust pricing if supplier costs change prior to order confirmation.
2.5 Quotations do not include structural surveys, planning permission, or specialist access equipment unless specified.
3. Orders, Deposits & Payment Terms
3.1 No work will commence until written confirmation and any required deposit have been received.
3.2 A 50% deposit is typically required for custom signage, fabrication, or installation work unless otherwise agreed.
3.3 The remaining balance is payable upon completion or prior to delivery/installation, depending on the project.
3.4 Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3.5 All goods remain the property of DP Sign Print until paid for in full.
4. Artwork, Design & Proof Approval
4.1 Artwork proofs must be approved in writing before production begins.
4.2 Approval confirms that all spelling, colours, dimensions, and layout are correct.
4.3 Any amendments requested after approval may incur additional charges and may affect lead times.
4.4 You are responsible for ensuring you hold the rights to any logos, images, or content supplied.
4.5 We accept no liability for copyright infringement arising from client‑supplied materials.
4.6 All design work created by us remains our intellectual property until paid for in full.
4.7 We may display completed work in our portfolio or marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.
5. Production, Lead Times & Materials
5.1 Lead times begin only after artwork approval and deposit payment.
5.2 All lead times are estimates; delays may occur due to supplier issues, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances.
5.3 Colours may vary slightly between digital proofs, printed samples, and final materials due to manufacturing processes.
5.4 Natural variations in materials (e.g., wood grain, acrylic tint, metal finish) are not considered defects.
5.5 We reserve the right to substitute equivalent materials if the specified materials become unavailable.
6. Installation Conditions
6.1 Installation dates are subject to weather conditions, access, and site readiness.
6.2 You must ensure safe, unobstructed access to the installation area.
6.3 If specialist access equipment (e.g., scaffolding, cherry pickers) is required, additional charges may apply.
6.4 We are not responsible for hidden structural issues, electrical hazards, or unsafe mounting surfaces discovered during installation.
6.5 If installation cannot proceed due to site conditions outside our control, a call‑out or re‑attendance fee may apply.
7. Delivery & Collection
7.1 Delivery dates are estimates and may vary due to courier delays or external factors.
7.2 Risk passes to you upon delivery or collection, but ownership remains with us until full payment is received.
7.3 You must inspect goods upon receipt and notify us of any issues within 48 hours.
8. Cancellations & Amendments
8.1 Orders for custom signage, printed items, or bespoke fabrication cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
8.2 If cancellation is requested before production, any design or administrative work already completed will be chargeable.
8.3 Amendments requested after approval may incur additional costs and may extend lead times.
9. Warranty & Liability
9.1 We provide a warranty on workmanship and installation for a period appropriate to the product type.
9.2 Warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by misuse, vandalism, accidents, or extreme weather
Fading due to prolonged UV exposure
Wear and tear from normal use
Issues arising from incorrect maintenance
9.3 Our liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied.
9.4 We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or financial losses arising from delays, defects, or installation issues.
10. Returns & Faults
10.1 Custom‑made products are non‑returnable unless defective.
10.2 Any faults must be reported within 7 days of delivery or installation.
10.3 We reserve the right to inspect and repair or replace the item at our discretion.
11. Planning Permission & Compliance
11.1 It is your responsibility to obtain planning permission or landlord approval where required.
11.2 We can advise, but we do not accept liability for signage installed without appropriate permissions.
11.3 You must ensure compliance with local regulations, building requirements, and health & safety standards.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Supplier failures
Extreme weather
Transport disruptions
Illness or labour shortages
Acts of God or government restrictions
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
