This Returns & Reprints Policy outlines how DP Sign Print (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles returns, reprints, and issues relating to custom signage, print products, and design work. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.
1. Custom Products and Eligibility
1.1 Most of our products are custom‑made, produced to your specific requirements, and therefore not eligible for return or refund unless defective.
1.2 Non‑custom items (if applicable) may be eligible for return, provided they are unused, undamaged, and returned within 14 days.
1.3 Any return must be authorised by us in writing before goods are sent back.
2. Faulty or Damaged Items
2.1 If your item arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery or installation.
2.2 We may request photographs, videos, or a physical inspection to assess the issue.
2.3 If a fault is confirmed, we will repair, replace, or reprint the item at no additional cost.
2.4 We are not liable for damage caused by:
Improper handling or installation by third parties
Vandalism, accidents, or weather conditions
Incorrect storage or maintenance
Wear and tear over time
3. Reprints Due to Artwork or Proof Errors
3.1 We produce all work based on the final approved proof.
3.2 Once artwork is approved, responsibility for spelling, colours, layout, and dimensions lies with the client.
3.3 Reprints required due to errors present in the approved proof are chargeable.
3.4 If the error is ours, we will reprint or replace the item at no cost.
4. Colour Variation
4.1 Colour variations may occur between digital screens, printed proofs, and final materials due to manufacturing processes.
4.2 Such variations are not considered defects and are not eligible for free reprints.
4.3 If colour accuracy is critical, a paid printed sample can be provided upon request.
5. Installation‑Related Issues
5.1 If we install the signage, we guarantee workmanship for a reasonable period appropriate to the product type.
5.2 Issues arising from structural problems, unsafe surfaces, or conditions outside our control are not eligible for free reinstallation or reprints.
5.3 If installation cannot proceed due to site conditions, a call‑out or re‑attendance fee may apply.
6. Returns for Non‑Custom Items (If Applicable)
6.1 Non‑custom items may be returned within 14 days, subject to inspection.
6.2 Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned at your cost unless faulty.
6.3 Refunds will be processed once the item is received and inspected.
7. Reprints for Customer Preference
7.1 Reprints requested due to a change of mind, preference, or design revision after production has begun are fully chargeable.
7.2 Any additional design or labour required will be quoted separately.
8. Turnaround Times for Reprints
8.1 If a reprint or replacement is approved, we will provide an estimated turnaround time.
8.2 Lead times may vary depending on materials, production schedules, and supplier availability.
9. Liability
9.1 Our liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied.
9.2 We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from delays, defects, or reprints.
9.3 We reserve the right to refuse returns or reprints that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Returns & Reprints Policy periodically to reflect changes in our processes, legal requirements, or industry standards. Any updates will be published with an updated “Last updated” date.
